Follow the authoring path

  1. Connect a data source and give physical inputs stable project identities.
  2. Define model tables with explicit keys, grain, and reusable transformations.
  3. Build a semantic model containing governed dimensions, measures, metrics, and relationships.
  4. Create a dashboard with filters, queries, visuals, tables, and an initial report page.
  5. Compose pages and layout for desktop and compact widths.
  6. Add filters and interactions through server-validated semantic mappings.
  7. Configure tables, matrices, and pivots for detailed analytical workflows.
